1. Basic research on pore etching in metals (Fe, Cu, Ni, Zn). Creation of macro-, meso- and nanopores.

2. Basic research on the anodic oxide growth on metals (Fe, Cu, Ni, Zn). Creation of nanoporous metal oxides for photovoltaic applications (solar cells).

3. The CELLO technique is an unique solar cell characterization tool. Tasks include: Updating manual, measurements of solar cells, etc.

4. Lab job in the functional nanomaterials group

5. Assistance in routine materials characterization by methods availiable in the group like x-ray diffraction or thermal analysis.

6. Assistance in the fabrication and characterization of nanocomposites, thin films and modified surfaces by various state of the art techniques

7. Laboratories for TEM specimen preparation.

8. Assistance in the fabrication and characterization of superelastic shape memory thin film medical applications and implants.

9. Assistance in the fabrication and characterization of magnetic shape memory thin film devices.

10. Assistance in the fabrication and characterization of high frequency magnetic microinductors.

11. Assistance in the fabrication and characterization of tunnel magnetoresistive (TMR) sensors for automotive applications.
